Why didn’t my enzymatic cleaner work?
Enzymatic cleaners can work on surface-level stains, but they need to reach the source of the odor — which is usually deep in the padding. Without commercial extraction power to flush and remove the treated solution, the enzymes can’t do their full job. You end up with a damp carpet that still smells once it dries.
Will the odor come back after professional cleaning?
In the vast majority of cases, no. Because our commercial extractor is rated to pull all the way down to the padding, we’re removing the crystallized urine salts that cause recurring odors. For severe or long-term contamination, we may recommend padding replacement in targeted areas for a complete solution.
